5 Foods to Eat and 5 to Avoid

I was just reviewing my Nutrition Action Newsletter from the Center for Science in the Public Interest last night, so I was pleased to see Good Morning America’s coverage of the 5 Overrated & Underrated Foods this morning.

I know it will be tough for some to hear about the overrated foods, but it is important to understand what, exactly, is in food sold today and how the ingredients can affect our bodies. The fat, the sugar, the sodium…and the calories!

I was so happy to see sunflower seeds on the list of underrated foods because my husband loves to crack open those shells at night. Finally, a snack I don’t have to wish he ate less of every day.

As for leafy greens, I put some kale in my morning smoothie. See how easy it is to add nutritious and delicious foods to your daily intake?
