This made me smile today. I love rainbows. The weather has been a bit dreary in New York City and Western Massachusetts. Gray, rainy, cloudy. I’m up in Pittsfield, MA this week and was out with my sister this morning. As we were driving home, I looked up and saw blue sky under the clouds. As soon as we got into the house, it started pouring. Then, you could see the sun working its way out from the clouds and beginning to shine brightly above the beautiful greenery. I happened to look outside as this beautiful rainbow appeared in the sky. I didn’t even realize at first that there was a faint double rainbow. It took a friend viewing this picture on facebook to point that out to me.
Rainbows make me believe anything is possible and that there is beauty everywhere. Do you agree?
Beautiful! I’m in western MA too and we actually had a sunny late afternoon! I took advantage and recorded a week’s worth of videos for the UBC and 30-Day video challenge!

I smile every time I see a rainbow, Jodi. To me they represent hope and they remind me that no matter how bad the storm, there is always a new beginning afterwards.
